Multi-split systems
One outdoor unit powering two or more indoor units, for cooling several rooms without multiple outdoor condensers.
A multi-split system connects two or more indoor units to a single outdoor condenser, so you can cool several rooms — say a living room and two bedrooms — without cluttering the outside wall with multiple outdoor units. Each indoor unit is controlled independently, so different rooms can run at different temperatures or be switched off entirely. It's a good fit for whole-floor or whole-house cooling where a single-room system per room would be impractical or unsightly.
- Up to 4-5 indoor units per outdoor condenser (model-dependent)
- Independent control per room
- One outdoor unit instead of several
- Sized per room, not just per system
Frequently asked questions
How many rooms can one outdoor unit cover?
It depends on the outdoor unit's capacity and the total cooling load of the rooms involved — typically 2 to 5 indoor units. We size this properly at survey rather than guessing from room count alone.
Can I add more rooms later?
Only if the outdoor unit has spare capacity for the extra load — we'll tell you at survey whether your chosen unit leaves room to extend later.
