Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Cool Penguin Climate Solutions collects when you use this website, why, and who it's shared with.

What we collect

When you use the online estimator, your room sizes and selections are calculated in your browser and are not sent to us until you submit the contact form. When you submit the contact form, we collect the name, email address, phone number, postcode and message you provide, along with any estimate you generated.

Why we collect it

We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry, provide a quote, and arrange a free on-site survey. We do not use it for marketing unless you separately opt in, and we do not sell it to third parties.

Who we share it with

Submitting the contact form sends your details to the following third-party services, each acting as a data processor on our behalf:

• Cloudflare — hosts this website and the function that receives form submissions.
• Anthropic — your name, postcode, message and estimate summary (not your email or phone number) are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to draft a first-reply email. This drafted reply is reviewed as part of our normal process before being relied upon.
• Resend — used to deliver the confirmation email to you and the enquiry notification to us. Your email address, and the message content, pass through this service to send those emails.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are retained only for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to carry out and warranty the installation or service work.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us what data we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact hello@example.com for any of these requests.
